Come See What Music Together® Is All About
What Happens in a Music Together® Class
In your Music Together® class, you'll sing, dance, and play alongside your child and other families from Greater Queens in Bayside and Forest Hills, NY. One minute you’re stomping around like dinosaurs. The next, your child is hopping into your lap for a car ride or snuggling up for a lullaby. Some children jump right in. Others watch, explore, or find their own way into the music. However your child responds is completely okay. For forty-five minutes each week, you get to simply enjoy the music-making with your little one.
Why Music Together® Works
From the songs we sing to the way your teacher guides class, everything in Music Together has been intentionally designed for the way children learn: through play with their grownups. Behind it all is more than 40 years of research in music and early childhood development. The activities invite children in, and the music has the variety and artistry to keep grownups engaged. As you're drawn into the music, your child will be, too.
More than a Music Class
The music doesn't stop when class ends. With the Music Together App and illustrated songbook, it’s easy to keep it going at home. Soon, the songs start popping up everywhere—during car rides, kitchen dance parties, silly moments, hard moments, and the ordinary routines that shape family life.
Over time, children begin to understand that music is not just something they hear. It’s something that belongs to them, something they can create and share with the people they love.

What Customer's Say
Jason's current favorite music class routine is singing lullabies, he will lie down with his stuffed animals, cover his eyes with hands, and pretend to sleep. And the most exciting moment in every class is always at the end when the teacher says, "Wake up!".
Music in the class also connects us with other kids. When I sang Tiny Tim to Jason at the playground, two boys around echoed us and they started to play together. Running into online classmates in the real world is a bonus especially at this time.
There are still many interesting experience which music and the class have brought to us. Thank you for your efforts and work. We look forward to the new semester.
Have a good weekend!

Hi Wendy, I hope you are doing well. Just wanted to share a bit of information with you, And please feel free to pass it on to your families in Music Together. Aurelio has been taking piano lessons for a year now, and his instructor has been amazed at how he has picked up reading the music and how he comprehends the music. So he asked me if he ever had any other formal exposure to music before. So I informed him he was in a music together mommy & Me program for a few years. He believesthat that early exposure to music is what helped Auriello grasp the reading of music and his understanding at this young age. So I want to just give you a heartfelt thank you for an amazing program which has had lasting effects on Auriello. Thank you, thank you!! We appreciate all you do and are forever grateful for you and the music together program!!! You are a true blessing!!! Many blessings to you and your family."

What happens in a Music Together class?
Each 45-minute Music Together class is a multisensory experience filled with singing, creative movement, visual props, instrument play, and other playful music activities. Children might be singing and shaking instruments one minute and dancing around the room the next. Some jump right in, while others watch or explore. Every response is welcome. Your teacher guides the activities while you participate alongside your child.
Why is music important for babies and toddlers?
Music gives babies and toddlers so many ways to learn, grow, and connect. Singing, moving, and playing with music supports parent-child bonding and your child’s natural music development along with their cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development. And it’s never too early to start. Even the youngest babies are listening and responding to rhythm, melody, and the sounds around them. Music Together classes turn those natural responses into playful opportunities to explore music with the grownups they love—and begin building a relationship with music that can last a lifetime.
My child doesn't sit still. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Children learn in different ways, and there's no expectation that they sit in the circle. Some children sing and dance right away, while others prefer to watch, explore, or move around the room. All of these are natural ways of participating and learning in a Music Together class.
